Human Resources Manager
You will be the first point of contact for employees on site and handle the full range of day-to-day HR work, supporting a workforce of 100+ employees and independent contractors.
What you will do
- Manage all job postings: draft and publish openings, maintain job boards, track applicants, and own onboarding for every new hire
- Run onboarding end to end: offer letters, new-hire paperwork, orientation, system access and first-week setup
- Administer the independent contractor lifecycle, working with Legal and Accounting on classification and payment
- Handle employee relations, including intake of concerns, workplace investigations and documented follow-up
- Support payroll with timekeeping, pay changes and commission documentation
- Administer leaves of absence, accommodations and workers compensation reporting
- Keep the company current on California and federal employment requirements
What you bring
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1 year handling employee relations independently
- Experience supporting 100+ workers, including a contingent workforce
- Working knowledge of California employment law
- Proficiency with HRIS, applicant tracking and payroll systems
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. PHR, SHRM-CP or similar is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Details
Monday to Friday, on-site in Beverly Hills, with frequent visits to our Van Nuys office. $30.00 to $36.00 per hour based on experience, plus medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401(k), paid vacation and sick time.
